This initiative contemplates the installation of 423 hemodialysis machines and chairs in 30 hospitals, the design and adaptation of physical spaces in hospitals for dialysis, installation of an osmosis water system in each space, installation of air conditioning equipment and UPS, preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, supply of dialysis kits, development of an update program, certification and continuing education of designated personnel.

The general objective of the project is to present a proposed solution that provides the necessary guarantees not only for the uninterrupted continuation of treatment for patients currently benefiting from the service but also to expand its coverage.
The purpose of this initiative is to provide a regulatory and contractual framework for the hemodialysis service provision system in the public health network, based on the fact that the service is currently offered in 30 public hospitals of the National Health System in the Dominican Republic.
