In Latin America, public health institutions were among the first to start operating using photovoltaic solar energy because it costs less than conventional energy, shows greater facilities for its installation and generation produced in situ, and is capable of providing high-quality electricity for refrigeration of vaccines, lighting, communications, medical applications, supply of clean and sanitary water.
This project consists of providing solar panels to health centers and administration offices that are part of the National Health Service in some rural and urban districts of the country.
