The project includes the construction, operation and maintenance of a Government District that consolidates the main state institutions in the city of Santo Domingo in a single place, promoting an improvement in the quality of the working conditions of public workers and a greater efficiency in the provision of services to the citizen. In fiscal terms, a positive impact is generated on public finances, transforming the perpetual expense in rentals into a single payment for availability during the term of the contract; Payment that will be subject to the proper operation and maintenance of the properties.

Government office centralization models have been successfully tested both in Latin America and Europe, for example, the City of Justice of Córdoba (Spain), the Governmental Civic Center (Honduras) and others that are in the process of being prepared in countries such as Costa Rica, which recently completed in 2021 the feasibility studies for the development of the Government Center through PPPs.
The proposal aims to consolidate the main institutions in a set of three modern office buildings for the development of a Government District on the land where the National Police Palace is currently located in Santo Domingo.
